Blogging?

I have thought about blogging for a long time now and enjoyed reading the blogs of friends and people I met during my time at the university. I was rather happy to be able to share their lives although I’m not able to talk to them or even see them on a daily – truth to be told in most cases not even a monthly – basis. So I came to think about starting a blog to enable people to take part in my life in my little corner of the universe and although I don’t think there will be thoughts of great wisdom or universal importance in here there might be some people out there who want to share my life.

Of course there is still that nasty habit of the Internet remembering all the things you said while being in a strange mood, advertising it to your friends, colleagues and potential future employers and leaving them to wisely judge whether your actions where governed by the moment or by careful consideration. But coming to think about that: One can’t help it anyway!

So I will start and just see what happens.
